Never went with the immediate dentures had the final dentures two years ago and I cannot wear the bottoms just wear the tops when I go out, but I remove them to eat soft foods very disappointed. bulky just can’t get used to them.

I never was shamed except passive aggressively by my ex boyfriend. He laughed at how much i went to the dentist for composites being chipped, teeth pulled, meanwhile he did every drug known to man before i met him, was still smoking weed and cigs, and never had a cavity or any teeth issues. Aside from his rudeness, i realized his point and i was mad at life. He should have meth mouth. Not me. I get accused of it at every dentist but never did it. It feels like crazymaking.

Lab made diamonds are cheap to make and can be made any color.....why don't they use that material for dental implants???

This was a great video. My teeth (and gums) have been in "decay mode" for a very long time. I've had different procedures already - some teeth removed and gum surgery. I know the full extraction is coming. So, it scares me! But this video really made me feel better!! 😊 BTW, your dentures look awesome!

You my friend have a God sent. I couldn't afford at this time for a full extraction so I just had my top teeth done and 1 molar on bottom that had cracked and abscessed last Saturday for which now I'm into week1 today. I couldn't tolerate the immediate denture after about 5-6 hour mark after getting home. Between the pain, bleeding and having to take denture out to clean every 15 mins or so I said screw this! 3 days after extraction I developed thrush. So at this point, I haven't been able to place back in. Now for the healing process with stages of healing I've haven't known what's normal or what's not. Every day there's something different in the appearance and color that just looks, dare I say yewwww! Yesterday where the 2 front were located my gum is moving with a weird feeling that feels like a lose piece of bone..Is that normal? Thank you for channel that has helped in reducing my anxiety!

I’m soo in debt, I’m 70 years old, disabled veteran, heart attack, two hip replacements, and on my second bout of cancer, I maxed out my dental insurance and over $6000 in Care Credit for my upcoming dental care, tops removed n denture, I have no idea how I can afford anymore, I can’t go back to work. Do you you know of any assistance is available out there? I don’t know what to do, got to wait till January to get started on repairs on my bottom remaining teeth, any help would be greatly appreciated

Had my 10 extractions in June (2024 ) in the front due to medications, making my teeth become loose, in addition to having an injury on the job. After the extractions, I looked like "Donkey" from the movie "Shreck" being that swollen. After 2 days ,swelling went down, but the numbness is "Still" there around the nose area. I used an adhesive powder like "Poligrip" which stayed on for 12 hrs Learning how to eat was a little hard but manageable, but i did get used to it. Eating a sandwich( regular square bread is no problem) especially if the bread is a sub, I felt my immediate dentures moving a lot and now being loose, even after applying the powder and paste together. Talking is still a little off, due to a little sluring and pronouncing certain letters. I knew it was time for a reline which is next week.. Im still learning and looking forward to my permanent dentures when the time comes ,hopefully soon.

You don’t look like you have facial sagging? Have you have fillers or something to bulk you up? That’s what I need so bad!

Im day one. I have too much gum... they feel huge!!! I can't even speak... I sound like Elmer Fudd over here!! Im so overwhelmed

Biggest fears is the dentist itself i dont want to say the word but youd rather be anywhere else then that chair the other is my spouse that feeling that once they see me with no teeth they wouldn't love me or want to be with me which brings you back to the word I can't say. All those little funny side chats you had about someone without teeth comes back to haunt you you lose sleep hoping not to grind your teeth when you sleep that first spit into the sink in the morning wondering if your going to see blood.

It truly blows my mind how many beautiful women out there that need dentures ? When people think about dentures they think about rednecks, poor people, blue collar, lowlifes. Anyway you are absolutely right about the cost of dental implants versus dentures. My cost for dentures 2 months ago was $4800. Full mouth extraction, and my first set of dentures. The dentist I was previously seeing wanted $14,000. to do the same exact thing ! If I can get up enough money in a year, I will get 4 implants and denture combo . Life can SUCK ! I'm sorry do you mind telling us all how much you paid for the implants ? I heard of people getting dental work CHEAP from a dental school.

Btw, I am on your channel because I just had a full mouth extraction 2 months ago and struggling BIG TIME with the pallet making me gage. I cant get use to it. So..... I picked up my dentures from my dentist after a modification. Well, they completely Horseshoed my new ( temp) dentures . I'm gonna wait until the weekend so I can take my time getting use to them over a 48 hour period. Anyway, Im going to try the product your satisfied with. I want soooooo bad to eat a pizza with a crunchy crust. I WANT ANY CHINESE FOOD AGAIN ! I'M SOOOOO SICK OF CREAM OF CORN SOUP FOR BREAKFAST ALMOST EVERY MORNING ( from WAWA convenience store) My dentures are temps for about 8 months. Then the permanent dentures are gonna cost thousands of dollars..... AGAIN ! Dont have the money to get partial implants. How many people do ? You poor dear. Did they not give you 3 things after a full mouth extraction- antibiotics, anti inflammatory drugs like steroids, and pain meds?

Wouldn’t it be easier if they made these all in ones that pop completely out that you can deep clean yourself and then pop them back on?

Are your implants permanently on? Do you have trouble cleaning in the gap? Are they ever taken off (say at dental appointments? ) what material are your teeth made out of?

On week 3 of immediate and just went for my "soft" reline. My dentures are so huge and forward that i can barely close my lips and can't bring my lips together to drink from straws. My face is no longer swollen, but it always looks like it is because of the teeth resting right against my cheeks. I'm just so disheartened. I went the immediate route because i teach and couldn't go without teeth, but they look so ridiculous I should've just gone without.

Going through this I hate my teeth, they are chipped and rotten, my parents also didn’t take me to the dentist as a kid and that really messed me up
